Volkswagen Passat 2011 is a Tad Firm
Sedan and wagon prototypes of the redesigned Volkswagen Passat 2011 have been pulling travel trailers all over Germany. The 2011 Volkswagen Passat Sedan and Wagon have the sleeker lines of the current VW CC, but we can never quite make out their face.

Well, someone scanned in the 2011 VW Passat Photos from a brochure and now the mystery is over. Those familiar with the Super Bowl commercial will remember the new 2011 Volkswagen Passat as the ‘Baby Darth Vader car’. But the refreshed premium mid-size from Germany is more about science than science fiction, with a number of new features making this Volkswagen 2011 safer, better equipped and more efficient than ever.

We won’t get this exact car, of course, but more than likely, the Tennessee-built New Midsize Sedan, Volkswagen 2011 Passat, will look like this car — while adding a little country-western flair, perhaps matching boots with special-edition Wrangler jeans.
The new 2011 Volkswagen Passat sits in the middle of the bargain-hunters and the badge snobs, with prices ranging from $38,990 to $57,990. If the 2012 VW Passat prices sound familiar, there’s a good reason: Volkswagen has maintained the VW Passat 2011 prices of the old model.
The diesel engine of the Volkswagen 2011 Passat still demands a $5000 premium over the base petrol, while the step up from the four-cylinder petrol to the V6 is a considerable $17,000. VW Passat 2011 Wagon variants cost $2000 more than their equivalent 2011 Passat Sedan.
Volkswagen Passat 2011 Trim Levels
The Volkswagen Passat 2011, while conservatively styled inside and out, hits the right notes when it comes to cabin quality. Chrome-ringed gauges, brushed-alloy dash trims and a finely-upholstered leather steering wheel are some of the VW Passat 2011 news highlights. Modified in many aspects is the Volkswagen Passat 2011 dashboard. Nappa leather seats and trim complete the picture.

Volkswagen Passat 2011 is certainly classy; the only thing we could find for complaint was that the front cup holders feel flimsy (a minor nit-pick). Reprising its role from the last-gen Passat R36 is Volkswagen’s familiar 3.6 litre VR6 engine, which boasts 220kW and 350Nm. It’s a smooth free-spinning unit and has no trouble hauling the 1700-kilo VW Passat 2011 wagon up to speed (although thirsty when worked hard.)

Throttle response is excellent; the V6 Passat 2011 really hits its stride above 4000rpm. VW Passat 2011 torque is strong in the lower reaches of the rev range too, so it’s more than happy to lug around town in fifth or sixth gear. The six-speed DSG automatic provides quick, near-seamless shifts, but we found its low-speed clutch engagement to be a bit snatch at times.

In the Trendline base version of Volkswagen Passat 2011, “Matt Chrome” decorative inserts are used. For the first time, the door trims are treated with special accents. Four other decor types are available for the higher versions of 2011 Volkswagen Passat; Comfortline (standard: “Iridium Printed”) and Highline (standard: “Brushed Aluminium”).

Genuine “Walnut” and “Zebrano” wood accents are offered on the Volkswagen Passat 2011 Comfortline at extra charge and as a selection on the 2012 VW Passat Highline. Always designed in brushed aluminium is the centre console aboard the Passat 2011 Comfortline and Highline then visually coordinated with this are the chrome bezels of the illuminated switches for lights, mirror adjustment and window lifts. On the whole though, Volkswagen Passat 2011 is a tad firm. Comfort VW Passat 2011 is best for around-town duties, while Sport and Normal are fine for highway cruising.
