2012 Kia Forte Doesn’t Have Any Awkward Angles
The 2012 Kia Forte four-door sedan and coupe (known as the “Koup” in Kia-talk) remain relatively unchanged from the 2011 model year. The Forte four-door sedan and 2012 Kia Forte Koup two-door coupe, like the similar Civic models, share little sheet metal. Both the Forte four-door sedan and 2012 Forte Koup are neatly and handsomely styled, elevating Kia from the bland-box lines it so often offered.

The 2012 new Kia Forte is smooth, clean, and uncluttered on the outside, with proportions that feel just right either up close or from a distance, a stance that’s assertive and attractive, and a flowing, gently arced roofline.

Like the fashionable Soul wagon, the 2012 Forte merits a new trip to the Kia dealership and perhaps a new look at Kia, which is quickly shedding its old reputation for cheap dowdy vehicles and replacing it with hints of on-a-budget enthusiast flavor. Some reviews says that the car has many of the elements of much more expensive cars, yet it’s still one of the least expensive small sedans.
The Forte is available in 2 body styles: the 2012 Kia Forte sedan or 2012 Kia Forte hatchback. Both 2012 Forte sedan or 2012 Forte hatchback feature Kia‘s distinctive family grille. The 2012 Kia Forte is available in three trims; LX (sedan only), EX and SX. The 2012 Kia Forte LX and EX trims feature a 156-hp 2.0L four-cylinder and a six-speed manual (standard on LX), or a six-speed automatic transmission (available on LX / standard on EX).

The 2012 Forte SX features a 173-hp 2.4L four-cylinder and a standard six-speed automatic. The 2012 Forte EX trims receive a standard telescoping steering wheel for 2012. The standard EX of the 2012 Forte hatchback transmission is now a six-speed automatic.

The svelte 2012 Kia Forte doesn’t have any awkward angles, and the sleek 2012 Kia Coupe looks even better with its simple, swept-back appearance. Inside, the look in any of the 2012 Kia Forte models is simple, in a good way. It’s not particularly trend setting, but with a smoother, more organic version of the teardrop center stack used in the Soul, the look is no-nonsense yet stylish. The rather tall roof and wider body works wonders for passenger space in the Kia Forte.

2012 Kia Forte front seats aren’t generously proportioned, but there’s adequate headroom even with the sunroof for a 6’6″ driver, with lots of legroom, and the backseat has plenty of space for two adults, three in a pinch—though legroom is limited. The Forte Koup is an exception to those observations, though; the slightly different seating position makes headroom challenging with the sunroof especially.
The Turbo Version of the 2012 Kia Forte
In addition to the above 2012 Kia Forte models, Kia is also preparing to roll out a vehicle possessing a turbocharged engine having 4 cylinders and capable of emanating a horsepower of 200. It is also anticipated that the Kia Forte Koup might be rolled out with hybrid mechanism.

Kia Corporation has always strived to maintain its standard pertaining to fuel efficiency and the usage of turbocharged engine will drive up fuel efficiency of Kia Forte almost doubling it. Although the pricing details are not officially promulgated, it will sport a price tag of less than $24000 and cover a warranty for 5 years or 60000 miles. Needless to say, the 2012 Forte has a high price to value ratio for the potential buyer.
