2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Got Enough Modern Features
The 2011 Wrangler is offered in two different body styles, the Wrangler and 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited also in three different trims (Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon). 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited models add 20.6 inches of wheelbase (116 inches), giving them the most cargo space ever in a Wrangler, and a larger rear-seat design.
While that extra backseat space in the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2011 will be much appreciated, don’t expect a lot of comfort anywhere in the Wrangler—although sound insulation has been improved for 2011. The Jeep 2011 Wrangler Unlimited offers the ultimate in capability without compromise. Jeep 2011 Wrangler Unlimited holds true to its rugged heritage but ramps up the comfort factor in ride and handling.
The Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2011 changes may have modern features such as power heated mirrors, available automatic climate control and GPS navigation, but the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is still a Jeep traditionalists can love, and this is a group that’s hard to please.

With the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2011, you get 20.6 inches of additional wheelbase—a total of 116 inches—plus a bigger rear-seat design, which together takes the Wrangler from essentially feeling like a 2+2 in base form up to a true four- or five-seater.

And even when you’re not carrying backseat passengers there are other advantages: the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited ride quality is better and more settled, while you also get a lot more interior space that can be used for cargo. Just as in the standard-length Jeep Wrangler, the interior of the longer, four-door Jeep Wrangler Unlimited has gone up market somewhat for 2011.

It’s still upright and basic, but the surfaces and trims have given it a softer, less angular parts-bin look. Some Jeep Wrangler Unlimited accessories delivered with a standard Sunrider soft top with larger rear window and body color Freedom Top hardtop option on 2011 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara for a premium appearance.
The 2011 Wrangler Unlimited engine is powered by a 3.8-liter V6 that produces 202 horsepower and 237 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed manual (with hill-start assist) is standard and a four-speed automatic is optional in the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2011.

Most Wranglers come standard with four-wheel drive (includes high- and low-range transfer-case gears), though the 2011 Wrangler Unlimited can be had with rear-wheel drive. In performance testing, with the automatic took a leisurely 9.7 seconds to reach 60 seconds. EPA estimates the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited fuel economy is 15 mpg city/20 mpg highway and 17 mpg combined.
Driving Impression
Many 2011 Wrangler Unlimited rumors said the Jeep SUV isn’t perfect, but it’s got enough modern features to win new converts to the Jeep brand. And, perhaps more importantly, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 2011 does nothing to alienate the already faithful.

2011 Wrangler Unlimited is not pleasant mechanical music, lacking the purposeful rumble of the Wrangler’s 4.0-liter inline-6 of years ago, and you’ll need to keep stabbing that throttle pedal, because the automatic transmission has only four gears with which to sustain forward momentum, so it’s easy to find yourself in a limbo of mushy throttle response.

The most hardcore off-roaders might opt for the Wrangler (in Rubicon trim, of course) over the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited because of its better break over angles, but all of its other off-road prowess is present—provided you get the right trim and option packages. The pricing starts at $23,445.
